Pope Leo's 'Dilexi Te': A Hollow Portrait of the Poor

In an age when the Church's social teaching is often reduced to slogans, Pope Leo's recent apostolic exhortation Dilexi Te ('I Have Loved You') has been hailed as a clarion call to charity. Yet a closer reading, as offered by Mark Bauerlein in Crisis Magazine, reveals a document that, for all its lofty language, remains strangely disconnected from the gritty realities of poverty it purports to address.

Hamburg parents await answer from Rome: will the Church hear the Catholic voice?

Hamburgo arkivyskupijos (Vokietija) katalikų mokyklų mokinių tėvai jau beveik šešis mėnesius laukia atsakymo iš Romos. Jie kreipėsi į popiežių Levą XIV., prašydami sustabdyti arkivyskupo Stefano Hessės įvestas lytiškumo ugdymo gaires, kurios, jų įsitikinimu, prieštarauja katalikų tikėjimui. Šios gairės, pavadintos „Vyras, moteris, įvairovė“, nuo rugpjūčio 20 d. turėtų būti taikomos 15-yje arkivyskupijos mokyklų.

Vatican's China Gambit: Cardinal Parolin's Naivety Endangers the Faith

Cardinal Parolin's hopeful words on the Vatican-China deal ignore communist reality, risking the Church's freedom and mission. In a recent statement, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican's Secretary of State, sought to justify the Holy See's provisional agreement with the People's Republic of China. His words, steeped in diplomatic optimism, paint a picture of increased freedom and a Church finally able to fulfill its divine mission. Yet, a sober look at the facts reveals a dangerous naivety that could have grave consequences for the Catholic faithful in China and beyond.

How to Fight the Cultural Revolution in Lithuania?

Can patriotism without faith save the Homeland?

Svarbus dalykas, apie kurį reikėtų kalbėti, - ar patriotizmas be tikėjimo gali išgelbėti Tėvynę? Mano nuomone, negali.
