The 'Prayer, Reparation, and Protest' Action Achieved Its Goal!

On June 6, the 'Prayer, Reparation, and Protest' action, organized by the Institute of Christian Culture, took place. Our action was not the only one—two other groups gathered at Cathedral Square: one, represented by VšĮ 'Patriotiški Lietuviai', which organized only a protest, and the other—the Society of St. Pius X, which did not organize a protest, but only a prayer action.

Our action was the most audible thanks to good sound equipment. Unfortunately, we must note that it had the lowest turnout. Of the approximately 40 people who registered in advance to participate, only 7 arrived.

Such a small number of people did not allow us to prepare a more spectacular presentation with crosses. About 20 crosses were made, which will wait for next year's action, but we are very sorry that we could not do it this year. We can do nothing without you—our readers and donors. We ask for greater activity and hope that it will be so next year.

Another consequence of the small number of participants was that 2 posters were stolen from us. Unused posters were lying nearby, but we could not constantly guard that place. At some point, most likely some participant of the deviant parade stole 2 posters and probably threw them away somewhere.

This incident, of course, testifies to the level of the participants of that march. Nevertheless, if there had been more of us, nothing like this could have happened.

It is especially sad about the poster with the inscription 'Let us rebuild the Catholic state!' and the images of Our Lady of Trakai and Grand Duke Vytautas.

Let us rebuild the Catholic state!

Speaking of the general goals of the action, they were achieved. The participants of the deviant parade were informed about the consequences of their behavior, which lead their souls to hell.

God sees that there are people in Vilnius who do not agree to such parades, and we pray that He will show mercy to Vilnius and not send the deserved punishment. About 60 people signed our appeal to the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania to restore elements of the Catholic state.

As I already mentioned, thanks to good sound equipment, the message of our volunteer Šarūnas Pusčius was audible even near Vilnius Cathedral.

We thank all our sponsors from the bottom of our hearts and ask for continued support and more active direct participation in our actions.

Below we present a video gallery from our action
