On June 6, our “Prayer, Reparation, and Protest” action took place.

Our event was not the only one: in Cathedral Square, two other groups also gathered—one represented by the NGO “Patriotic-minded Lithuanians,” which organized a distinctive protest, and the other—the Priory of St. Pius X — who did not hold a protest, but instead organized a prayer gathering.

Our event was the most noticeable, thanks to a good sound system. Unfortunately, we must note that it was the least well-attended. Out of roughly 40 people who registered in advance to take part in the event, only 7 came to the location.

Such a low number of participants prevented us from putting on a more impressive presentation with crosses. We produced about 20 crosses that will be waiting for next year’s event, but we are very sorry that we couldn’t make it happen already this year. Here, we can’t do anything without you—our supporters. Please be more active, and we hope this will be the case next year.

Another consequence of the small number of participants was that our posters were stolen. The posters were lying nearby, but we were unable to keep watching them constantly. At some point, most likely someone from the participants of the “parade of perverts” stole those posters and, most likely, threw them away somewhere.

This incident, of course, reflects the level of the event’s participants. However, if we had had more people, nothing similar would have been able to happen.

We are especially saddened by the loss of the poster saying “Restore a Catholic State!” along with the images of the Mother of God of Trakai and Grand Duke Vytautas (Witold).

Regarding the overall goals of the event, they were achieved. The participants of the “parade of perverts” were informed about the consequences of their behavior, which lead their souls to hell.

God sees that there are people in Vilnius who do not agree with such parades, and we pray that He will have mercy on Vilnius and not bring punishment upon it.

As I already mentioned, thanks to the good sound system, the voice of our volunteer Šarūnas Pusčius could be heard even in the vicinity of the Vilnius Cathedral.
